STS International Awarded Contract for Simulations and Training Engineering Services (STES) Support

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 5, 2016 – STS International was awarded a $135 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract as part of a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to support the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Army Research Lab (RDECOM-ARL) Simulation and Technology Training Center (STTC) in its mission to increase research and develop training and simulation technology to enhance the Warfighter’s effectiveness.

The simulation and training technologies developed under this program are part of the Army Research Lab (ARL) Training and Simulation Major Laboratory Program (MLP) and include investments in Intelligent Training Technologies, Immersive Learning, Synthetic Natural Environments, Advanced Distributed Simulation, Medical Simulation and Training, Dismounted Soldier Training Environments, Training Applications and Live Training and Instrumentation.

STS will focus on Medical Simulation and Training, drawing on 20 years of simulation and training systems development, instruction, services support and Mobile Medical Simulation Training Center design and development.
