ARLINGTON, VA – February 26, 2014 – STS International, Inc., a global provider of high quality technical services, today announced that it had received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification.
Certification for ISO 9001 required STS to have a proper internal quality management system in place and have an accredited, third-party auditing organization thoroughly review these processes. As an ISO 9001 certified company, STS must consistently follow, review and improve its management processes in order to maintain certification. STS’ commitment to continuous process improvement will ensure that it reliably delivers products and services that meet customer requirements.
“Achieving ISO 9001 certification is important for any company, and it is not easily done,” said Ted Morgan, founder and CEO of STS. “Adherence to the high standards that are the underpinning for this achievement will greatly benefit our Customers, STS Employees and the Corporation.”
“STS has achieved ISO 9001 certification as a mature organization using the best practices of our industry,” commented Douglas Morgan, Vice President of General Administration and Director of the process committee responsible for ISO 9001. “ISO 9001 certification requires a commitment to our processes and customer needs throughout the STS organization.”
“As one of the fastest growing technical service providers in our industry, it is quite natural that we are achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification. This requires a real commitment and strong customer focus throughout the organization, from the corporate leadership through operational activities” said David Morgan, Vice President Operations of STS International, Inc. “And as a strategic partner to our customers, it is only fitting that we continue to improve our operation and help them save time and money in our work. By demonstrating our unwavering commitment to a strong culture of quality, the ISO 9001:2008 certification will provide a great endorsement of our quality management approach,” concluded Mr. Morgan.
