The RT is a computer-based training system facilitating ‘anywhere, anytime’ training using mobile, portable and/or stationary platforms. STS International (STS) built the RT to facilitate immersive training experiences using the latest simulation and training technologies. The RT features:video monitoring; special effects to simulate stress events; device control by computer via wireless networks; after action review; and, enrollment, retrieval and archival management. The RT can be configured to support various types of training.

Simulation and computer-based training is transforming the way we teach and learn. Ninety (90) percent of today’s X & Y generations prefer computer game-based learning to standard lectures.  To meet this challenge, STS developed the Virtual Immersive Training and Assessment System (VITAS) program.  VITAS is a training philosophy and program that advocates standard lectures be enhanced, but not replaced, with advanced hands-on simulations that challenge users with realistic training which improves decision-making skills.
